Let me know if I'm wrong about that. There are many little changes throughout the song. Generally everything is EQed better, so that all the parts occupy a specific spot in the mix. I toned down the vocal a little, but it is still front and center, as the song pretty much requires i...

It will probably come as surprising news to all of you that Derek and Summer, who just celebrated baby Tristan's first birthday, just annonced that they're pregnant again. Summer is six weeks along, has already had an ultrasound, and happily (but nervously) reports that she's having twins. Please feel free to send them your best wishes.

Having now read that article, I'd like to say that, in addition to my previously-stated belief that Mrs. Nixon is more truthfully bisexual than gay or straight, I think the author's suggestion that her sexuality changed over time is also possibly on-target. The idea of a person's sexuality changing is outside of my experience, but it makes sense to me, given that we are all organic machines that exist in a perpetual state of change, and that the sources of our sexualities are a mystery anyway. ...

I haven't yet read that article, but I'm not sure how the experience of one individual could jeapordize the beliefs or reality of any other individual. Okay, so Mrs. Nixon says she's gay, and claims that it was a choice. Maybe for her it was a choice. Perhaps she finds herself capable of feeling attracted to men, but falls more on the "gay" end of the spectrum than on the "straight" end, and so, while she feels she has a choice, she prefers a same-sex partner. I mean, tha...

I could have been clearer. I am interested in the ethics of belief. And look at Nixon’s case: A sizable chunk of the gay community is offended by her beliefs. Her sincere introspective result is that her gayness is a choice. If it is, then much of the foundation for the human rights progress that has been made for the GLBT community is in jeopardy. So, again, here we are confronted with the ethics of accepting the results of individual introspection, but this time the alternative is ...

This topic just never gets old. Here is Cynthia Nixon talking about her gayness. She says she's been out with men and women, and "gay is better." In her view, that's entirely a choice. But notice: She claims to be gay, not bisexual. http://www.slate.com/blogs/xx_factor/2012/01/23/is_cynthia_nixon_s_sexuality_really_a_choice_.html

I know, right? I probably won't try to get in on any beta test games, mainly because I'm just not a big rules guy, but it's mildly fun for me to consider.

Thanks, man. Actually, I must admit that I am annoyed by one shortcoming of this new script: When you click one of the last 10 posts to go to it, you instead jump to the topic that the post was made under, and not to the post itself. So you have to scroll around to find the post you were hoping to read. That really irritates me, but it's something I couldn't figure out how to fix last night. Perhaps on some future evening I'll take a look at that. For now, just having the Last 10 Post...

It's so sad that a single script may have separated most of us from regular use of the board, but I think it's absolutely possible that it did. Thanks so very much for bringing it back, Cuz. You're kinda the shit right now. Enjoy it, man, enjoy it.

I think it's kinda cool, but that's because I haven't given up my now 30 years of hope associated with the D&D brand, even after the obvious cash grab of 4th Ed. Plus, I dig Monty Cook in general, and I think it's possible he can pull it off. And since the announcement specifically name checks my two favorite editions, 1st and Basic, I'm game. Bring it. Also, Dave, it may be the lamest, geekiest bragging you've ever done, but it was damn effective. I was like, "WTF, dood? LOLz! That pwn...
